Diana Riesco

Diana Fiorella Riesco Lind was born December 4, 1980. Her greatest excitement is painting, which she has been engaged in since the age of 15. While in junior high, she took an elective in art and discovered her affinity for it. Eventually, she convinced her parents to let her enroll in the Museum of the Nation for courses in drawing and painting, and then her passion for the fine arts found only encouragement at home. Riesco gradually began to know the artists in her own family better – a cousin, a great uncle and his children, all well-known artists.

Riesco's highly creative and searching mind has a powerful impact on her paintings. She describes her work as meticulous and detail-oriented, and she is impelled by a need to create and communicate her thoughts, ideas and emotions. Her greatest challenge is to adapt to new people and places, as she has moved a lot in her life in addition to traveling for pleasure.

Riesco has exhibited her paintings in prestigious Peruvian galleries and museums.
