"I began to paint at the age of 16 and always found a source of inspiration in my father [Leo Ferreira, a Novica featured artist]. The themes of my work are modern, sometimes abstract, sometimes figurative with a touch of surrealism. Recently I have developed a series of canvases exploiting the mystery of seeing. I find that the scenes I paint are emanations of God; they come to mind and I only put them on the canvas.

"During the past five years, I have participated in competitions alongside my father. To show my painting with Novica is a marvelous opportunity. It's incredible to think of the Internet's reach, that my work can please a person who is so distant and at the same time so near, only to have been touched by my art."
