"My name is Supranee Taewijar but you can call me 'Lian.' I was born July 12, 1983, an only child of my birth mother. We were together only eight years, and since then I've lived with my father and stepmother. I have four brothers and sisters here and I'm the last daughter in the family. But our relationships are very good, and we are very close. Everyone in this family is loving and candid.
"On the good side, I'm above board, not a liar and have a lot of aplomb. The negative is my naughtiness – but not active and willful. Maybe this is because I'm the youngest and everybody loves and pampers me a lot. My family teaches me to solve problems myself, and they only advise me. But now, something in me is changing. I find it easy to smile, and I'm talkative. My character seems to help me make a lot of friends.
"I'm studying fine arts in the university. In my opinion, I could study in every single program, but I like art a lot. And I've liked to draw since I was young. Art helps me achieve equanimity, because normally I'm impetuous. In everything, my family agrees with my opinion and supports me in every way.
"Some things that come from my family are the importance of being polite, a becoming demeanor and belief in Buddhism. It's my lifestyle – not encroaching on anybody, making a good way, being responsible, dutiful and moral. And last, doing everything well today.
"Art is my challenge. You may ask why, because before I decide to major in art, I had never taken a photo or practiced drawing and painting much. I had only my good feelings about art. So far, I've been able to study at this level and can triumph. In my future, I want to have a good family beside me, have a good job and still have art in my life. So I want to study even more, if I can.
"Every piece I create is drawn from my impressions, my imagination and my love. When it is finished, I value the piece a lot. Almost all of my designs picture flowers. This comes from my interest in them. First, I research a concept, style and history of an idea I want to carry out. Then I sketch outlines, and select the best one to work on until it's a success."
