Sunil Bindani

"Hi, I am Sunil Bindani and I was born and brought up in Orissa. I was always fascinated by the mystique and colors of painting. I think I have inherited the talent from my ancestors since most of them were in the field of art. So it was obvious that I should join the Bachelor of Fine Arts faculty after finishing school.

"'Creativity' is my motto, and whatever I create is developed from my own instinct. My work is pretty original. I can work with any kind of material and medium with originality to generate a piece of art, like oil and acrylic on canvas, sculptures in bronze, fiber casting, etc. My work really depends on mood. When I am happy, I love working on something joyful, colorful but when I am sad, I work on something somber, muted. My mood rules my mind. It gives me immense pleasure to be in this field of art. The feeling of being able to express your thoughts and emotions is awesome.

"My work has been exhibited many times in places in India and I also show it in a gallery. They have helped me a great deal. Being associated with Novica is a great opportunity. It feels amazing to show my work for all the art lovers in the world to see."
