I am Evans Edem Doe, born in Accra on March 17, 1982, where I live with my mother and a brother. As a young boy, I was interested in drawing. This interest grew within me, so I decided to study art in secondary school and, upon completion, I went to Ghanatta College of art and design with a major in painting. I'd describe my works as semi-abstract in style.
"I use canvas material, white glue, emulsion and acrylic paints for my works. I am inspired by the great Picasso and some Ghanaian painters, and am motivated by stories and by the things I see around in daily life.
"I haven't taught my craft to other people, rather I assist students with their home assignments in painting. I am looking forward for an opportunity to exhibit my work.
"I tend to like everything but my favorite activities are things that concern art.
"My general dream for the future is that my works would be recognized and be accepted worldwide."
